Job summary

The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel is seeking a Receiving/Storeroom Clerk to ensure that dry goods, food items, beverages, supplies and equipment are received, stored and issued accurately for hotel operations in a luxury setting.

The role requires ensuring quality and quantity matches orders, maintaining secure storage, and handling items up to 45 pounds with team coordination and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum education is high school equivalency, with some hotel/college training preferred.
• Preferable experience in a similar capacity for a luxury or ultra-luxury property.
• Must be able to exert physical effort in transporting 45 pounds and perform various physical movements.

Responsibilities

• Receive Dry goods, Food items, Soft Beverage, Operations Supplies, and Equipment and verify quantities, prices and quality against orders.
• Store and issue all items, maintaining physical control until properly issued from Stores to operations.
• Operate in a secure, organized storeroom environment and communicate effectively with hotel staff.
