Job summary

Alisal is seeking an experienced bartender to provide attentive beverage service at our luxury ranch and resort in Solvang, CA. You will take orders, prepare cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, and handle payments with a friendly, confidential approach.

The role requires strong knowledge of wine and spirits, POS proficiency, and the ability to work a variable schedule including weekends. Applicants must be 21+, have prior bartending experience, CA RBS certification, and a commitment to

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CA RBS Training Certification.
• Prior bartending experience required.
• Desire to establish outstanding, authentic guest interactions.
• Integrity, dependability, and adaptability.
• Skilled at multi-tasking, attention to detail, speed and organization.
• Extensive wine and spirits knowledge.
• POS knowledge and experience.
• Graceful demeanor under pressure.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
• On-site work, able to stand, sit, walk, and move for entire shift.
• Ability to work outdoors and indoors in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests, customers, members and servers.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per Ranch recipes and policies.
• Record orders accurately and process payments.
• Garnish drinks, replenish snacks, and serve food orders to bar guests.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of bar area and storage spaces.
• Present drink menus confidently and answer guest questions.
