Job summary

Alisal is seeking an experienced bartender to provide attentive beverage service at our luxury ranch and resort in Solvang, CA. You will take orders, prepare cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks, and handle payments with a friendly, confidential approach.

Responsibilities

• Take beverage orders from guests, customers, members and servers.
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks per Ranch recipes and policies.
• Record orders accurately and process payments.
• Garnish drinks, replenish snacks, and serve food orders to bar guests.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of bar area and storage spaces.
• Present drink menus confidently and answer guest questions.

Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time

Salary Range: $17.50 - $17.50 Hourly

Alisal, a luxury 10,500 private acre working Ranch and Resort in the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Bartender to join our team. This position entails attentively taking beverage orders from guests/customers/members and servers to efficiently prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Ranch's recipes and policies. Accurately recording drink orders and entering them into the register system, in addition to accepting and recording payment, charges, and making change. Competently preparing garnishes for drinks, replenishing snacks, and receiving and serving food orders to guests seated at the bar. Organizing and maintaining bottles and glasses, and restocking bar inventory in an aesthetically pleasing, functional manner to promote beverages and support efficient drink preparation. Maintaining organization and cleanliness of bar area, including tables, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, glassware, and storage areas. Impeccable drink menu presentation and ability to respond to guest questions and inquiries while consistently displaying a friendly and warm demeanor.

Requirements

• Must be able to present proof of identity and legal right to work in the United States post offer, pre-employment.
• Conditional offer subject to criminal background check.
• Open availability to accommodate varying schedules as well as able to work on weekends and holidays.
