Job summary

Crown Residential seeks a Service Technician to maintain a luxurious, safe community and handle resident service requests. You will perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC tasks, prep vacant units for move-ins, and help develop preventative service ideas to save costs while improving safety.

Must have strong customer service, be able to work in a team, maintain safety, and hold a valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Flexibility for long hours and weekends is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Section 608 HVAC Type I.
• Preferred: Auto Insurance.
• EPA/CFC and CPO certifications.
• North American Technician Excellence (NATE).
• Heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration certification (HVAC).

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting tasks regularly.
• Repair and treat fixtures such as showers, sinks, doors/cabinets, walls and exteriors.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-ins and verify readiness.
• Maintain, repair and replace HVAC systems; basic knowledge of HVAC.
• General service knowledge in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, drywall, and appliance repair.
• Schedule, perform and log preventative maintenance.
• Provide 24-hour emergency service on on-call rotations.
• Complete grounds work: sweeping, landscaping, trash disposal.
• Keep common areas and amenities clean and safe.
• Inspect building systems; report issues promptly.
• Follow Crown Residential policies and Fair Housing laws.
• Store equipment safely; report hazards immediately.
• Complete tasks on schedule; coordinate special projects as directed.
• Ensure community safety and upkeep; perform other duties as assigned.
