Job summary

Comstock in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician with experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and carpentry to maintain a luxury apartment community. You will perform preventative maintenance and respond to work orders in a resident-first environment.

This role requires a proactive problem-solver with strong communication skills, able to work after hours and participate in an on-call rotation to ensure five-star living standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience considered.
• Maintenance Technician with 1+ year of experience preferred.
• HVAC, electrical and plumbing knowledge required; CFC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Class A customer service and build rapport with residents.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and cleaning of interiors and exteriors.
• Conduct PM on unit and building equipment and respond to on-call emergencies.
• Repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry and painting tasks.
• Make ready units for new move-ins and assist with grounds work.
