Job summary

Samuels & Associates in Boston is seeking a Leasing Consultant to drive residential leasing activity in Fenway’s premier luxury building. You will guide prospective residents from initial inquiry through move-in, delivering outstanding service and maintaining occupancy targets.

Work with the General Manager and property team to promote amenities, review applications, explain lease terms, and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws. Weekend and evening availability required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred.
• Previous experience in residential leasing, sales, hospitality, customer service, or property management is preferred.
• Strong sales, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and close business.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple prospects and priorities.
• Knowledge of local residential rental markets and competitive properties is preferred.
• Proficiency with leasing/CRM systems and Microsoft Office; Yardi or similar property management software preferred.
• Must be available to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Generate leasing activity by responding to inquiries, conducting property tours, presenting amenities and services, and communicating value.
• Manage the leasing process from application through lease execution, including reviewing applications and explaining lease terms.
• Build relationships with residents through professional, responsive service, focusing on satisfaction and renewals.
• Support occupancy and revenue by following up with prospects and monitoring market conditions.
• Assist property marketing initiatives, including online advertising, social media, open houses, and events.
• Coordinate apartment readiness, move-ins/move-outs, maintenance requests, and resident concerns with property teams.
• Maintain accurate leasing records, availability, lease status, CRM activity, and required reporting.
• Process deposits, rent payments, and other leasing-related transactions per company procedures.
