Job summary

The Seagate Hotel, Golf & Beach Club, Autograph Collection seeks an experienced Assistant General Manager to support the GM in leading daily operations at the Beach Club and Mr. Seas. This role oversees front-of-house F&B, pool, and beach services with a hands-on, guest-first approach.

Partnering with culinary, membership, catering, and marketing teams, you will elevate the member guest experience, drive budgets, and develop future leadership within a vibrant private club setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in luxury hospitality leadership or private club leadership.
• Strong background in F&B, budget and labor management, and inventory control.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and hold teams accountable with credibility.
• ServSafe Manager and responsible alcohol service certifications preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS, scheduling systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily Beach Club and Mr. Seas operations.
• Maintain a strong management presence during key service periods and lead meetings.
• Hold associates accountable to standards and coach for excellence.
• Own associate training and service standards to luxury expectations.
• Build schedules and manage labor in line with volume and cost goals.
• Assist in budgets and revenue forecasts; monitor costs and take corrective action.
• Maximize sales and profitability through member engagement and activations.
• Manage inventory control and uphold cash handling and policies.
• Build member and guest relationships and resolve concerns with service recovery.
• Collaborate with culinary team on menus, catering, and events.
• Promote member events with membership, catering, and marketing teams.
• Inspect front- and back-of-house areas for presentation, cleanliness, and safety.
• Drive departmental projects and operational priorities to completion.
• Partner with People and Culture on hiring, onboarding, attendance, and performance.
• Lead operations in the GM’s absence and assume GM responsibilities as needed.
• Communicate clearly, manage multiple requests with courtesy and patience.
