Job summary

Thompson Thrift is seeking a Leasing Consultant for Watermark at Steele Crossing in Fayetteville, Arkansas. You will drive occupancy and revenue by delivering an exceptional resident experience and representing the community with professionalism and enthusiasm.

You will guide prospects through tours, applications, and the leasing journey, while supporting ongoing resident relationships and collaborating with on-site management to ensure a smooth, high-performing leasing operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 1 year of leasing, sales, customer service, or office environment experience.
• Experience in multifamily leasing, sales, or hospitality preferred.
• Flexibility to work some evenings; must be able to work weekends.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is required; mileage reimbursement provided at IRS rate.
• Must meet physical requirements (lifting 10–25 lbs, up to 40 lbs).
• CALP designation preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage prospective residents with personalized tours.
• Guide prospects through the application and leasing process.
• Support occupancy goals and leasing performance.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and digital channels.
• Deliver high level of customer service to prospective and current residents.
• Support marketing and outreach efforts and events.
• Maintain knowledge of the community, amenities, and market.
• Prepare lease documents and process applications.
• Assist with move-ins and onboarding; communicate proactively.
• Collaborate with on-site team to maintain a high-performing leasing environment.
