Job summary

The Beverly Hills Hotel, part of the Dorchester Collection, is seeking a Cook 1 Supervisor to join our luxury kitchen team in Beverly Hills, CA. You will lead and support culinary operations, ensuring the highest standards of craft, service, and leadership as part of a historic hotel expansion.

You will collaborate with Culinary Management, supervise prep and cooking across stations, and contribute to a premiere guest experience in a world-class environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks occasionally.
• Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity.
• Must have physical stamina to lift, carry, push and pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including set‑up, portioning, chopping, and storing.
• Wash and disinfect kitchen area including tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Assist all culinary outlets as needed and must be able to work every station in the kitchen with success.
• Partner with Culinary Management team to achieve all daily tasks and support development of fellow cooks.
• Prepare and cook food to ensure guests receive high quality experiences.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure alignment and smooth operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization to uphold luxury standards.
• Support hotel team to sustain consistency across departments.
