Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue Llc is seeking a Specialized Operations Associate to oversee the General Office and Jewelry Department operations under the Assistant General Manager, Operations. The role covers opening the store, cash handling, deposit processing, and reconciliation of chargebacks.

You will also manage jewelry receiving, transfers, shipments, price changes, and vendor communications, while supporting floor teams and ad hoc duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong computer skills including Google and MS Office.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; confidentiality maintained.
• Flexible scheduling to meet business needs.

• Ability to apply store policies to decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Open the store: manage safe, controller, registers and distribute reports.
• Handle morning cash entry, deposits, and reconcile chargebacks.
• Process customer issues and facilitate package tracking/processing.
• Receive, verify and book jewelry per company standards.
• Process returns, transfers, ASN shipments, and price changes.
• Maintain repair logs and track repairs with vendors.
• Prepare special order requests and statements of sale.
