Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue, a premier luxury retailer, is seeking a Specialized Operations Associate to manage General Office and Jewelry Department operations. You will open the store, handle daily cash processes, and support inventory and customer service efforts with precision.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with leadership and merchants to ensure audits, shipping and repairs run smoothly. An employee discount and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High proficiency with Google and MS Office; adaptable to new tech.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule per business needs.

Responsibilities

• General Office: Opening the store including safe, controller, registers and distributing reports.
• Maintain daily functions: morning cash entry, processing bank deposits, reconciling chargebacks, counting registers and petty cash.
• Resolve customer issues, both internal and external, e.g. researching/payment of bills, tracking/processing customer packages.
• Jewelry Operations: Follow Jewelry Standards and Shipping Guidelines; receive, verify and book all jewelry per standards.
• Process re-tickets, RTVs, Transfers, ASN Shipments and price changes.
• Retrieve and process merchandise for returns/transfers to vendors; ensure case counts and discrepancies are reconciled.
• Maintain repair logs; track repairs and submit invoices.
• Handle trunk shows merchandise, assist in show setup/takedown and recap results.
• Prepare and submit special orders and Statements of Sale as needed.
• Communicate with Corporate Merchants, AP, Inventory Control and vendors as needed.
• Audit readiness and monitor vault contents; assist on selling floor as needed.
