Job summary

The Marker Union Square in San Francisco seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our housekeeping leadership team. This hands-on role supports the Executive Housekeeper in daily operations, leading the team, maintaining exceptional cleanliness, and ensuring rooms and public spaces reflect the quality of a luxury boutique hotel.

Responsibilities include inspections, workload monitoring, inventory management, and collaboration with Front Office to resolve guest

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience required
• Luxury or upscale hotel experience is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations in alignment with Executive Housekeeper
• Conduct regular room and public area inspections for cleanliness and presentation
• Monitor workload, room status, and productivity; manage inventory and supplies
• Lead, train, and develop housekeeping team members; provide hands-on support during peak times
• Coordinate with Front Office to address VIP requests and guest priorities
