Job summary

Cheeca Lodge & Spa in the Florida Keys is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead daily housekeeping operations and guest room presentation. You will supervise a team, ensure room readiness, and coordinate with Front Desk and Engineering on status and VIP arrivals.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years of supervisory housekeeping experience in a luxury setting, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3 years in housekeeping supervisory role at a resort or luxury hotel.
Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations and standards.
Proficient with PMS and Microsoft Office; able to multitask under pressure.

Responsibilities

Supervise Room Attendants and Housepersons to ensure coverage.
Inspect rooms for cleanliness, guest readiness, and maintenance needs.
Coordinate with Front Desk and Engineering on room status and VIP arrivals.
Train and mentor staff, monitor supplies and safety compliance.
Maintain daily logs of inspections and guest feedback.
