Job summary

Grand Bohemian Charleston, Autograph Collection, a luxury boutique hotel managed by Davidson Hospitality Group, is seeking a Sous Chef to lead a high-volume kitchen with flair for creativity and precision.

You will collaborate with the Executive Chef, oversee daily operations, assist in menu development, manage inventory, and mentor a talented culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Qualifications

• College degree or certification in culinary field/hospitality preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of diverse culinary techniques and cuisines.
• Strong leadership with ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage inventory including ordering and receiving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate with Executive Chef on planning, staffing, and procedures.
• Assist in menu development and daily specials.
• Handle daily food requisitions and maintain kitchen organization.
• Hire, train, and coach kitchen staff to ensure quality and efficiency.
