Highgate Hotels at The Joule Dallas is seeking a professional Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience in a luxury setting. You will apply refined service standards, deep menu knowledge, and anticipatory hospitality from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, describing features, guiding selections, upselling when appropriate, and coordinating with culinary and bar teams to ensure flawless service.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, providing an engaging and polished first impression.
• Present menus, describe daily features, and guide guests through food and beverage selections.
• Encourage upselling or menu items according to guest preferences to maximize average ticket.
• Take accurate orders, accommodating dietary restrictions, allergies, and personalized preferences.
• Execute elegant table service aligned with luxury dining standards (e.g., proper courses, wine presentation, table maintenance).
• Ensure all dishes and beverages are delivered with correct timing, temperature, and presentation.
• Maintain immaculate table settings; clear, reset, and prepare tables with precision and efficiency.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, anticipating needs and adjusting service accordingly.
• Process payments accurately and follow all POS and cash-handling procedures.
• Communicate seamlessly with the culinary, bar, and support teams to ensure flawless service flow.
• Uphold cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the dining room, side stations, and service areas.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
