The Joule Dallas, a Highgate Hotels property, seeks a Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience through refined service, expert menu knowledge, and anticipatory hospitality in a luxury setting.

Greet guests, present menus, guide selections, upsell daily features, take accurate orders, and coordinate with culinary and bar teams to ensure flawless timing, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. This role requires grace, precision and a passion for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide friendly, attentive, and professional customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Capable of standing, walking, and carrying trays for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and professionally, providing an engaging and polished first impression.
• Present menus, describe daily features, and guide guests through food and beverage selections.
• Encourage upselling or menu items according to guest preferences to maximize average ticket.
• Take accurate orders, accommodating dietary restrictions, allergies, and personalized preferences.
• Execute elegant table service aligned with luxury dining standards (e.g., proper courses, wine presentation, table maintenance).
• Ensure all dishes and beverages are delivered with correct timing, temperature, and presentation.
• Maintain immaculate table settings; clear, reset, and prepare tables with precision and efficiency.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience, anticipating needs and adjusting service accordingly.
• Process payments accurately and follow all POS and cash-handling procedures.
• Communicate seamlessly with the culinary, bar, and support teams to ensure flawless service flow.
• Uphold cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the dining room, side stations, and service areas.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
