Job summary

Montage International is hiring a Server to join its luxury hotel dining team. You will create personalized guest experiences, recommending menu items and ensuring timely service while working with a passionate, detail-oriented staff.

Qualifications

• One year minimum of experience in food and beverage operations.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Basic communication skills.
• Prior Micros or other systems experience is a plus.
• Luxury hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food and beverages are being served in a professional and timely manner.
• Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations and answering questions about ingredients, preparation methods, and dietary restrictions.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, recording special requests for the kitchen staff.
• Anticipate guest needs during the meal service; refill drinks, clear plates, offer dessert or coffee.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Promote menu items, specials, and promotions using suggestive selling techniques.
• Adhere to cleaning and safety standards.
• Attend daily pre-shift meetings.
• Follow the food & beverage sequence of service with attention to detail.
• Deliver on guests' expectations and create WOW moments.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by business needs.
