Job summary

The Historic Cavalier Hotel & Beach Club, Autograph Collection in Virginia Beach seeks a friendly and reliable server to deliver outstanding guest service. You will prepare and serve drinks, greet guests, and maintain beverage station readiness while adhering to responsible alcohol service standards.

Ideal candidates have hotel or restaurant experience, strong communication, and the ability to handle up to 30 lb trays.

Qualifications

• Hotel front-of-house experience preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with guests and team members.
• Proficiency with point-of-service (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of state liquor laws and responsible service guidance.
• Able to carry large trays up to 30 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests with hospitality to ensure an exceptional experience.
• Prepare and service drinks per HEI standards.
• Follow state and corporate alcohol-service requirements and procedures.
• Assist with station setup and closing duties; perform side work.
