Job summary

The Historic Cavalier Hotel & Beach Club, Autograph Collection is seeking a Room Service Attendant in Virginia Beach to join the on-site team. You will assist in delivering meals and beverages to guests, ensuring timely service and friendly interaction throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate well with guests.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and move heavy items, including trays and carts.

Responsibilities

• Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders according to guidelines and policies.
• Perform floor sweeps and collect trays to maintain sanitation standards.
• Set up VIP amenities and service hospitality suites per events.
• Complete shift side work as required by hotel policies.
• Respond to guest needs, issues and comments to ensure quality experiences and encourage future visits.
• Handle cash transactions following company procedures.
• Maintain regular attendance and be available to work on schedule.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by supervisor.
