Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Server Assistant for The Historic Cavalier Hotel & Beach Club in Virginia Beach. The role assists the Outlet Manager and servers to maintain a clean, welcoming dining environment and deliver stellar service.

Responsibilities include quick clearing, stock/cleanliness maintenance, beverage service, and proper handling of tableware, with daily attendance expected. The position supports a premium hospitality experience at a luxury property.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of appropriate table settings and service ware.
• Effective verbal and written communication; able to adapt to audiences.

Responsibilities

• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare tables for resetting.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment.
• Serve guests with beverages, bread, and butter to begin dining and replenish as necessary.
• Transport dirty tableware from dining room to dishwashing area for proper cleaning.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work regularly.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
