Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking an attentive server to greet guests, prepare and serve drinks, and ensure a hospitable guest experience at The Historic Cavalier Hotel and Beach Club in Virginia Beach.

Role requires knowledge of state liquor laws, ability to lift up to 30 lbs, and excellent communication. This on-site position offers opportunities to work with a premier luxury property and grow within HEI's hospitality teams.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be able to comply with state liquor laws.
• Able to lift and transport trays up to 30 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and prepare/serve drinks per beverage standards.
• Follow state, federal and company requirements for serving alcohol.
• Prepare station before opening and after closing shifts.
• Handle cash and follow HEI procedures.
• Perform side work as scheduled and maintain attendance.
• Be available to work regular shifts and other duties as assigned.
