Job summary

Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean and attractive guestrooms at The Elser Hotel & Residences in Downtown Miami. You will perform pre-cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and ensure the comfort and satisfaction of every guest throughout your shift.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and clear communication with guests and team members. The position supports a comprehensive benefits package and full-time hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Ability to stand during entire shift and communicate effectively with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies and linen for housekeeping cart set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for Lost and Found according to standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
