Job summary

Viceroy Hotels in Santa Monica is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean, welcoming guestrooms and deliver attentive service to every guest. You will perform pre-cleaning duties, stock carts, report maintenance, and ensure overall guest satisfaction according to our luxury standards.

• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with guests and coworkers
• Ability to stand during shift and lift up to 50 pounds
• Customer-service oriented with a courteous demeanor

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies and linen.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean and vacuumed.
• Restock cleaning cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
