Job summary

Fairmont Long Beach is seeking a Guest Relations Associate to deliver exceptionally friendly and personalized service to guests in a luxury setting. You will promote hotel facilities, handle guest concerns, and coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure seamless experiences.

Responsibilities include answering calls and emails, processing reservations in Opera Cloud, upselling rooms and amenities, and maintaining high service standards while working a flexible schedule,

Qualifications

• Positive, outgoing and professional attitude with a passion for service.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality diploma is a plus.
• Previous guest relations experience required.
• Opera Cloud experience is an asset.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Promote hotel facilities and personalize guest experiences.
• Handle guest concerns and log/notify proper departments.
• Respond to reservations and billing inquiries using Opera Cloud.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure seamless service.
• Answer calls and manage emails in a timely, professional manner.
• Upsell guest rooms and hotel facilities to maximize revenue.
• Ensure accurate check-in/check-out and reservation details.
