The Purchasing Clerk is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant receipt and distribution of all goods and materials delivered to the hotel.

Qualifications

• Must have physical stamina to lift a moderate to heavy weight.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined communication skills.
• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others.

Responsibilities

• Receives all incoming deliveries of products and goods.
• Distributes all received shipments to appropriate locations throughout the hotel.
• Ensure proper transfer and handover of goods to the relevant departments.
• Submits and tracks purchase orders.
• Inspects goods against PO, supplier invoices, and delivery notes.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Director, Finance, suppliers and operations to ensure timely processing of PO life cycle.
• Scan, route, and process invoices through the workflow for timely processing.
• Ship in-house and guest packages.
• Other administrative tasks as needed.
