Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation, Park Hyatt Washington, is seeking an energetic Purchasing Clerk to join our Finance and Purchasing team. This role ensures accurate receipt and distribution of goods, processes purchase orders, inspects deliveries, and coordinates with departments to keep the PO lifecycle on track.

• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate to heavy weight.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Receives all incoming deliveries of products and goods.
• Distributes all received shipments to appropriate locations throughout the hotel.
• Ensure proper transfer and handover of goods to the relevant departments.
• Submits and tracks purchase orders.
• Inspects goods delivered against approved POs, invoices, and delivery notes.
• Conduct quantity and quality checks and report discrepancies, shortages, or damages.
• Coordinate with Purchasing Director, Finance, suppliers, and operations to ensure timely processing of goods through the PO lifecycle.
• Scan, route, and process invoices through the workflow to ensure timely processing.
• Ship in-house and guest packages.
• Other administrative tasks as needed.
