Job summary

Miyako Hybrid Hotel Plano seeks a hands-on Housekeeping Manager to lead the opening of its luxury property in Plano, TX. You will shape cleanliness standards, train teams, and implement procedures to ensure flawless guest spaces and public areas.

You will recruit, train, and motivate staff, optimize PMS/HMS usage and office tools, and collaborate with Rooms, Engineering, and Front Office to guarantee readiness for opening and ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of progressive housekeeping leadership experience.
• Pre-opening hotel experience is highly desired.
• Experience leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Experience configuring and using PMS/HMS and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, development, and opening of all housekeeping operations.
• Develop policies, procedures, standards, and checklists aligned with luxury hospitality expectations.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop housekeeping staff for consistency and guest service.
• Establish room cleaning procedures, inspection processes, and QA programs.
• Coordinate pre-opening deep cleans and readiness reviews.
• Manage staffing plans, schedules, labor standards, and daily procedures to support opening and ongoing operations.
• Oversee supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships for housekeeping.
• Ensure OSHA safety compliance and environmental sustainability practices.
