Viceroy Hotels in Sun Valley, Idaho, seeks a Housekeeping Manager to lead the pre-opening team and establish luxury cleanliness standards across guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, you will recruit, train, and supervise staff, develop SOPs, schedule and control labor, and ensure guest satisfaction through impeccable operations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of progressive hotel experience; or a 4-year college degree; or a 2-year college degree and 1+ years of related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Proficiency in Windows, company-approved spreadsheets and word processing.
• Long hours sometimes required.
• Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, and up to 20 pounds frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly and service-oriented manner.
• Attend hotel-required meetings and trainings; participate in MOD coverage as required.
• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with hotel standards and grooming policies.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the daily operation of the Housekeeping department, including guestrooms, public areas, laundry operations, and back-of-house spaces.
• Ensure guestrooms, public areas, and operational spaces meet cleanliness, presentation, and service standards.
• Recruit, train, onboard, schedule, and develop Housekeeping staff; manage performance.
• Lead SOP implementation and luxury service standards for the resort.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor and manage labor, payroll, and inventory to align with budget and forecast.
• Establish inspection programs, quality assurance procedures, and accountability standards across Housekeeping operations.
• Support pre-opening operational setup and readiness initiatives.
