Job summary

Elysée New York is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead daily operations, ensuring Forbes Five-Star standards and impeccable guest experiences. You will supervise a unionized team across rooms, public areas, and laundry, coordinating with Engineering, Security, and Front Office to maintain flawless readiness and discretion.

Reports to the Director of Housekeeping; roles require meticulous attention, strong judgment, and discreet leadership in a luxury NYC hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of luxury housekeeping operations.
• Experience leading unionized teams and applying CBAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily housekeeping operations across room attendants, housepersons, laundry attendants, linen and uniform operations, and turndown service.
• Review occupancy, arrivals, VIPs, and priorities before work is assigned.
• Build and adjust schedules according to forecast occupancy and labor plans.
• Maintain pass-ons, room status records, productivity reports, and attendance documentation.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory, linen, guest supplies, and equipment.
• Inspect guest rooms, suites, public areas, and back-of-house spaces before release for use.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Security, F&B, and Guest Relations for readiness and requests.
• Protect guest privacy during service and inspections.
