Job summary

Aramark Destinations is hiring a General Manager to lead the hospitality experience at High Point University’s hotel campus. The GM will plan, manage, and guide multiple contracted services for a client generating substantial revenue, ensuring exceptional service and financial performance.

The role requires leadership across operations, client relationships, and compliance with Aramark standards, with a focus on delivering Extraordinary hospitality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Service, Hospitality, Facilities, or Business Management.
• Ability to lead through other managers.
• Experience managing contracts and budgets.
• Experience in service/hospitality environment.
• Strong communication with clients and senior management.
• Understanding contractual requirements.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team providing operational expertise and hands-on management.
• Manages client/community relationships at the location.
• Builds and leads a management team.
• Recommends improvements based on contract terms and obligations.
• Manages a budget with Finance and designs improvements to optimize financial performance.
• Ensures compliance with local, state and federal regulations and records.
• Adheres to Aramark's standards of operation including safety policies.
• Lead hospitality where the standard is Extraordinary.
