Job summary

Hyatt's Miraval Austin Resort and Spa invites an experienced Director of Hotel Financial Operations to lead the property’s finance and accounting teams. You will oversee financial reporting, internal controls, and the on-site financial planning processes to support guest experiences and business growth.

Reporting to the Area Director of Finance, you will collaborate with the GM and leadership to ensure timely closes, accuracy, and compliance with Hyatt standards while driving profitability and

Qualifications

• Hospitality or Accounting degree preferred.
• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a hotel.
• Experience supervising accounting staff.
• Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and accounting functions for the property.
• Direct monthly close, GL reconciliations, and schedules with accuracy.
• Oversee annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
• Monitor internal controls and ensure SOX compliance.
• Collaborate with leadership to drive profitability and efficiency.
• Lead audit process and respond to auditor requests.
