Job summary

The role partners with hotel leadership, oversees accounting staff, drives budgeting and forecasting, and supports strategic decisions to improve profitability and operational efficiency across the property.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or Accounting degree preferred.
• 2+ years' progressive hotel accounting experience.
• Experience supervising Accounting staff.
• Familiarity with Opera PMS, MICROS, Kronos preferred.
• Advanced Word and Excel skills.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hotel's financial reporting and accounting functions.
• Direct the monthly close, GL reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports per Hyatt standards.
• Review results, analyze variances, and advise on performance.
• Oversee AP, AR, payroll accounting, and cash management.
• Lead internal controls and SOX compliance.
• Coordinate annual audit process and respond to auditors.
