Job summary

Miraval Berkshires Resort and Spa, part of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, seeks a Director of Hotel Financial Operations to lead the accounting and financial planning for the property. You will oversee reporting, controls, and financial processes to support executive leadership and Hyatt standards.

The role drives financial performance, manages the Accounting department, and collaborates with the Area Director of Finance to deliver accurate results and strategic insights.

Qualifications

• Hospitality or Accounting degree preferred.
• 2+ years progressive Accounting experience, preferably in a hotel.
• Experience supervising Accounting staff.
• Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills; strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hotel's financial reporting and accounting functions with timely information.
• Direct monthly close, journal entries, GL reconciliations and statements.
• Oversee preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Manage GL, AP, AR, payroll accounting and cash management processes.
• Lead annual budgets, forecasts and financial projections.
• Maintain internal controls and support SOX compliance.
• Coordinate internal audit and improve financial processes.
• Partner with hotel leadership to drive profitability and efficiency.
