The Driskill, a flagship property in The Unbound Collection by Hyatt, invites an ambitious Event Sales Manager to drive banquet and catering revenue in Austin's luxury market. You will prospect, negotiate, and close new business with corporate clients, social planners, and local organizations, guiding events from inquiry to successful execution.

Linking operations, culinary, and sales, you will design memorable experiences, maintain accurate pipeline data, and uphold Forbes-level service

Qualifications

• Two or more years of hotel, catering, event sales or hotel sales.
• Proven ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business opportunities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively solicit new catering, social, and corporate event business through prospecting and networking.
• Develop and execute strategies to increase local catering revenue and market share.
• Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, event planners, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct site tours and present customized event solutions highlighting venues and service standards.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close opportunities aligning with revenue goals.
• Collaborate with clients to design memorable events, including menu selections and timelines.
• Partner with operations, culinary, and banquet teams to ensure flawless execution of events.
• Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline in Hyatt systems.
• Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual catering revenue goals.
