Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary culinary training or certification as Cook.
• Knowledge of Food Service Sanitation Standards.
• Familiar with standard kitchen equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• English reading, writing and speaking required.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organize work area with required supplies and equipment.
• Receive, inspect, and rotate food products to ensure freshness.
• Prepare and store raw food items following recipes and portions.
• Adhere to standardized recipes and plating/presentation guidelines.
• Monitor temperatures, freshness, and timely service; report delays.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and sanitation; operate equipment safely.
