Job summary

Viceroy Hotels in Sun Valley, Idaho, is seeking a Cook to join our luxury resort kitchen. You will prepare, cook, and present items per recipes across restaurant, banquet, café, pool, and room-service outlets, upholding exceptional quality and sanitation standards.

This role supports multiple outlets, may flex between stations, and requires standing long hours, safety awareness, and knowledge of menus. We offer comprehensive benefits and full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience is required.
• Flexibility for long hours and variable shifts.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures.
• Knowledge of menus and hotel-standard preparation.
• Proficiency in charbroiling, poaching, deep-frying, sauté, braising, roasting and par-cooking.
• Knowledge of herbs and spices and proper usage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of all storage areas.
• Prepare and stage food for service to ensure prompt guest service.
• Prepare and display buffet items according to hotel standards.
• Follow health regulations and safety standards at all times.
• Support multiple culinary outlets and flex between stations as needed.
• Assist in storage/rotation of food and line setup for service.
