Job summary

Starwood Hotels is seeking a high-energy Sales and Marketing Coordinator to support the Sales & Marketing team in a luxury hospitality setting.

The role involves general office duties, drafting proposals and contracts, loading bookings and rates in the PMS, and maintaining client and company profiles. It requires strong organization, excellent communication, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a 24-hour operation.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field; 2+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong administrative, organization, and technical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and guest service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone and respond to inquiries in a pleasant manner.
• Answer client/bookers questions about property facilities/services.
• Serve as the contact for clients via phone and email.
• Generate reports, prepare proposals, and coordinate with clients & suppliers.
• Assemble information packages (brochures, promotional materials, kits).
• Manage schedules for sales managers and travel arrangements.
• Assist sales team by filing documents and communicating relevant information.
• Arrange meetings, events, and appointments; record and distribute minutes.
