Job summary

The Aldenburg Hotel in Versailles, Kentucky seeks an Ambassador who elevates guest experience beyond front desk duties, acting as host, tour guide, and problem solver. You’ll help guests with reservations, local experiences, and a seamless departure with warmth and discretion.

This boutique setting rewards proactive service and personal touches. Responsibilities include arranging local experiences, guiding guests, and collaborating across departments to ensure every stay is memorable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in guest/customer service for luxury goods or services; or equivalent education/experience.
• Professional proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication.
• Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle report to assist in parking guest vehicles as needed.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and push a bell cart up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to work varied shifts including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate passion and genuine care for all aspects of a guest’s experience, handling all interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
• Own all aspects of a guest’s experience from beginning to end with accurate reservations, inviting arrivals, local recommendations, and seamless departures.
• Accommodate special requests, even if it requires bending protocol for the guest’s benefit.
• Serve as the tour guide for all hotel experiences, uncovering guest preferences to add a personalized touch.
• Master the hotel systems to respond across pre-arrival to post-departure communications.
• Be fanatical about details to ensure all requests are delivered without overlooking any aspect.
• Prioritize guest satisfaction, wearing many hats (bellman, valet, greeter) as needed.
• Display professionalism and discretion, maintaining a calm and engaging presence.
• Apply knowledge of service standards to address concerns and suggest improvements to hotel management.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to meet guest needs and respond to feedback.
