Job summary

I-Grace is seeking a skilled Fine Paint Finisher to execute premium interior and exterior painting for upscale New York residences. The candidate must emphasize meticulous surface preparation, finish quality, and clean, organized work habits on high-value projects.

Responsibilities include match-color restoration, protection of surrounding surfaces, and precise application using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. Strong attention to detail and collaboration with project teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional fine-painting experience in luxury environments.
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation and premium coating systems.
• Ability to achieve high-level finishes on walls, ceilings, trim, cabinetry, and doors.
• Spray-finishing experience is highly desirable.
• Comfortable working in occupied residences around valuable furnishings and finishes.

Responsibilities

• Surface Preparation: Clean, scrape, sand, fill, patch, caulk, prime, and spot prepare substrates.
• Painting and Finishing: Apply interior/exterior paint on walls, ceilings, trim, doors, and cabinetry with smooth, uniform finishes.
• Millwork & Cabinetry: Prepare and finish fine millwork, doors, and crown moldings.
• Protection & Cleanliness: Protect surfaces and maintain a clean work environment in occupied residences.
• Quality & Communication: Identify finish issues and perform punch-list corrections as per specifications.
