CARL HANSEN & SØN in Burlington, NJ is seeking a customer service representative to service our client accounts from our distribution center. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork to ensure orders are entered promptly and correctly.

You will work closely with the sales team, quote clients, and liaise with our Denmark factory, handling special orders, product specs, lead times, and logistics to keep shipments and invoicing on schedule. Occasional NYC training may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer service experience, preferably in luxury furniture.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask and prioritise.
• Strong attention to detail when processing product information, pricing and docs.
• Experience with order entry systems; Microsoft Axapta is a plus.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with the sales team and clients to ensure orders are entered timely and accurately.
• Create quotations and assist clients with pricing inquiries.
• Act as liaison between the factory in Denmark and clients placing orders.
• Coordinate special order requests and custom upholstery applications with our factory.
• Serve as an expert on product specifications and variances.
• Use internal resources to provide production lead times and stock levels when requested.
• Resolve customer issues regarding quality claims and returns.
• Desire to build strong relationships with clients and internal team members.
• Assist with logistics responsibilities to ensure orders are shipped and invoiced in a timely manner.
• Work in tandem with our logistics partner to resolve potential issues occurring before shipment.
• Occasionally commute to New York City office for staff events/additional training.
• Other responsibilities assigned as needed.
