Job summary

Fairmont Pittsburgh, a luxury hotel in the heart of Pittsburgh, seeks an experienced Front Office Manager to lead our front desk, guest services and royal service teams. The role requires strong leadership, superb guest relations and solid knowledge of OPERA PMS CLOUD.

Qualifications

• Front Office Manager experience preferred, luxury property is a plus.
• Experience with OPERA PMS CLOUD advantageous.
• Excellent computer and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and team leadership.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth and efficient operation of Front Office and related services.
• Coordinate Front Desk, Guest Services and Royal Service on duty.
• Seek feedback on guest satisfaction and resolve issues.
• Maintain high level of guest service across Front Office.
• Monitor house count and optimize revenue and occupancy.
• Oversee VIP and Loyalty guests room assignments and VIP reports.
• Assist IT functions including PC configuration and networking.
• Conduct monthly department meetings and mentor Front Office Leaders.
• Recruit Front Office positions and manage performance reviews.
• Uphold LQA and brand standards.
• Promote teamwork and guest-centric culture.
