Job summary

The St. James Hotel in Red Wing, MN, seeks a personable Server to join our Front of House team. You will greet guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks, delivering a high-quality dining experience with attentiveness to guest needs.

Qualifications

• 3–6 months related experience or equivalent.
• Good verbal, written, and communication skills with attention to detail and interpersonal relationships with guests and employees.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a smile, take orders, and serve food and beverages.
• Provide prompt, accurate service and ensure quality of food and drinks.
• Know menu items, cocktails, wines and beers to enhance guest experience.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely service.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness and assist with prep duties as needed.
• Monitor guest IDs and alcohol service to comply with regulations.
• Handle cash and reconcile server-related finances at shift end.
