Job summary

The Peninsula New York is seeking a Front Desk Agent to elevate guest experiences, greet and register guests, and coordinate check-out in line with hotel standards.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or related field, plus at least one year in luxury hotel settings, with outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills and fluency in English (foreign language skills preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• At least one year of hotel experience, preferably in luxury market.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills; able to work under pressure with guests and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, assign rooms, escort guests to rooms, and coordinate check-out per hotel procedures.
• Provide world-class, personalized service and information to guests throughout their stay.
• Ensure proper reconciliation of funds at end of each shift and report discrepancies.
• Maintain reception administrative duties such as updating client profiles and managing communications.
