Job summary

The Peninsula New York is seeking a Front Desk Agent to elevate the guest experience by delivering warm, personalized service, greeting guests, registering arrivals, and guiding them throughout their stay in accordance with hotel policies.

You will handle check-out, provide information, manage guest requests, ensure accurate cash handling, and reconcile funds at shift end, reporting discrepancies to the Manager on Duty.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
• Minimum 1 year hotel experience, preferably luxury.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, able to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register guests, assign rooms, and escort to rooms.
• Handle check-out and arrange for guest departures per procedures.
• Provide hotel information and guest assistance to meet needs and requests.
• Ensure correct reconciliation of funds at end of each shift and report discrepancies.
• Maintain reception administrative duties and uphold hotel service standards.
