Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection in Napa Valley is seeking a Food Runner to support Bear restaurant, delivering food and beverages to tables with courtesy, maintaining the station, and ensuring service standards. Starting pay is $17.40 per hour, with decisions based on experience and education.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Food & Beverage service.
• Experience in table service & positioning.
• Responsible Beverage Service training certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage to the guests’ tables as assigned according to restaurant specifications, courteously and efficiently.
• Assist in the maintenance of the restaurant area and equipment.
• Provide quality service.
• Maintain complete knowledge of dining room layout.
• Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation method/time, ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation.
• Deliver food in accordance with Restaurant standards of service.
• Learn and effectively use P.O.S. system and manual systems.
• Handle guest complaints following the four step procedure and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned station and service areas.
