Job summary

DO & CO AG is seeking a Flight Coordinator to join the New York team. The role involves coordinating flight-related food service operations, ensuring timely delivery of high-end products to aircraft crews, and maintaining strict quality standards.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service, strong planning and communication skills, and are comfortable working in refrigerated environments. A valid driver’s license and flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• At least 2 years of related work experience, preferably in customer service.
• Ability to meet requirements to obtain a PANYNJ ID (Port Authority NY/NJ per TSA regulations, 49 CFR 1542.209).
• Computer literate.
• Excellent planning and coordination skills.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Hands-on approach.
• Ability to work 50% of the time in a cooler/refrigerated area.
• Works well in a fast-paced, diverse clientele environment.
• Team player with leadership ability.
• Must read/write/communicate in English.
• Flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional communication across channels and distribute incoming operational information to relevant departments.
• Ensure production processes, quality standards, deadlines, and accuracy for DO & CO’s products handed to aircraft crew without delays.
• Ensure products and trolleys meet quality standards and are delivered as per customer instructions.
• Conduct physical counts and pack additional equipment or products.
• Identify procedures to improve efficiency and customer care.
• Confirm special meals and correct meal quantities for each flight.
• Work with Food Packers and assist in assembly line tasks in cold/storage areas.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management, upholding DO & CO standards.
