Job summary

DO & CO AG in Des Plaines is seeking a dynamic Flight Coordinator to join our luxury hospitality team. You will manage communications across multiple channels, ensure the timely handover of meals to aircraft crews, and oversee packing and delivery processes on site.

This role requires flexibility to long shifts, the ability to work in a refrigerated environment, a valid driver's license, and customer‑service experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Experience in customer service is beneficial.
• Ability to work 50–70% of time in a cooler/refrigerated environment.
• Excellent planning and coordination skills.
• Strong communication and hands-on approach.
• Ability to work long hours on foot in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional communication across channels and distribute information to relevant departments.
• Ensure production, quality, deadlines, and accuracy for DO & CO’s products to aircraft crews.
• Ensure quality standards and delivery according to customer instructions.
• Conduct physical counts and pack additional equipment or products.
• Suggest process improvements for efficiency and customer care.
• Confirm special meals and correct quantities for each flight.
• Assist in food packing and setup in refrigerated areas.
• Deliver catering meals by driving airside to meet the delivery truck and hand over to aircraft crew.
