Job summary

Alila Marea seeks a Guest Communications Agent in Encinitas to ensure a luxurious guest experience from arrival onward. You will handle high volumes of calls, navigate multiple systems, and collaborate with all hotel departments to deliver Forbes-standard service.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in front desk or guest services, a hospitality degree, and strong proficiency with hotel software. This is an on-site, hourly position offering growth and a dynamic luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year front office/guest services experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality or related field preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Experience with hotel management systems and reservation software.
• Experience in luxury/upscale hotel setting (Forbes standards).
• Highly organized, proactive, results-driven and flexible.
• Excellent communicator and team motivator.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to brand guidelines to ensure guest safety and comfort.
• Guest Service Excellence: warm, personalized welcome and service.
• Address and resolve guest inquiries, requests, and issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate guest information and reservations in the PMS.
• Promote loyalty programs and incentives.
• Monitor calls across platforms and assist in lobby/front office upkeep.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor and provide personalized service.
• Other duties as assigned.
