Job summary

The Potomac Hotel, Autograph Collection, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Operations Manager to oversee front of house operations at DŌGON restaurant and support other outlets and Banquets. You will report to the Restaurant General Manager and work closely with Culinary operations to uphold luxury service standards.

The role requires exceptional knowledge of fine dining, wine & spirits, and hotel operations, plus management experience.

Qualifications

• Exceptional knowledge of fine dining, wine & spirits, cocktails, and hotel operations.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous restaurant management or supervisory experience.
• Luxury hospitality experience preferred.
• Union experience preferred.
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage F&B outlets and operations ensuring quality, service and luxury standards.
• Monitor staffing levels, supplies, and equipment to maintain standards and safety.
• Support and lead additional F&B Managers and service teams in delivering exceptional guest service.
• Ensure a positive atmosphere in all outlets with guest contact.
• Manage scheduling and payroll-related considerations as needed.
• Create scheduling and prepare for payroll meetings.
• Attend and lead pre-shift lineups and conduct ongoing training.
• Demonstrate knowledge of all products and menu items.
• Meet and greet guests and oversee the open table guest profile system.
• Maintain clean and organized storage areas, service stations, and dining room.
• Handle guest feedback with timely solutions.
• Ensure responsible alcohol service integrity.
• Monitor inventory and track items; oversee month-end inventory.
• Multitask effectively under high demand."
• Oversee rollout of new hotel standards.
• Foster good relations with back-of-house and uphold food quality standards.
• Ensure organization and cleanliness of all F&B areas.
• Collaborate on activations with Marketing and POS programming.
• Respond to guest disputes promptly.
• Order and restock products.
