Job summary

Montage Healdsburg is seeking a Director of Restaurants to provide strategic and operational leadership across the hotel’s dining outlets. You will drive profitability, oversee daily operations, manage budgets, and lead a team of restaurant managers and staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

You will recruit, train, and develop the team, implement cost controls, and ensure compliance with safety and brand standards while collaborating with other departments to elevate overall hotel

Qualifications

• Prior Food and Beverage Management experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prepare and analyze data, figures, and transcriptions.
• Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Knowledge of food service techniques and cost controls such as labor, productivity and expenses.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership on the hotel’s restaurants.
• Drive hotel profitability through revenue generation in food & beverage outlets.
• Assist F&B Managers with daily restaurant operations, floor support, events, and reservations.
• Maintain constant communication within the restaurant.
• Monitor lighting, music, temperature, service levels, and ensure quality and presentation.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Implement cost controls and revenue enhancement strategies to maximize profitability.
• Maintain standards of service, food quality, and brand adherence.
• Attend daily line-ups and weekly meetings.
